To enhance the research capability of the faculty members specifically on technological research, the Research Capability Seminar and Workshop on August 25, 2011 in the College Conference Room. Eighty interested Faculty members attended the said activity.
The Resource Speaker was Dr. Carmelo Ambut, Director of the Research Services Division of Western Visayas College of Science and Technology Main Campus and President of the National Council of Educational Innovators for Region VI. Topics discussed were Research in general and Technological Research in particular.
A workshop was done by the participants on Technological Problem Identification based on searched prior art and Problem Solution (new inventive steps and industrial applicability). Salient points on Intellectual Property Rights Protection were shared by Mr. Edgar Y. Germo, Intellectual Property Rights Officer of the College.
