The Southern Iloilo Polytechnic College –WVCST Miagao Campus observed the World Teachers’ Day Celebration with the theme, “My Teacher My Hero,” on October 5 at the college covered court.
The day commenced with a prayer and a message from the Campus Administrator, Dr. Raul F. Muyong, who expressed to the students that to show real appreciation and love for their teachers even for just a day, students should behave like mature people and not give them stress.
The program proceeded with the giving of messages and tokens by the students to their teachers. Some gave flowers and balloons and others offered gifts. Selected students from different councils rendered entertaining numbers. The program was hosted by John Rey Geasin and Ronaliza Salazar, both BSED students.
