To examine the competence of the school especially on the five programs, the accrediting team conducts data gathering and evaluation of documents, at the office of accreditation, instruction, extension, research, and library, respectively.
Dr. Benedicto T. Militante, Jr., AACCUP overall coordinator of the team, evaluated the Electrical Technology documents at the Office of Instruction, together with Dr. Christine V. Cubillo, team leader for the Hotel and Restaurant Technology and Dr. Thesius S. Sillero, team leader for Automotive Technology.
“As the name of the school levels up, the quality of education must level up too,” says Dr. Sillero. He suggested that the teachers must visit other institutions so that they could get ideas about Instructional Materials (IM’s) on major subjects.
The Research Department was examined by Dr. Lilibeth S. Tindugan, Southern Leyte State University, while Prof. Rebecca B. Napiere, Visayas State University, scrutinized the Library facilities and equipment.
“Match the learning styles of the teacher to the learning styles of the students,” stressed Dr. Sansen T. Tolorio of Eastern Visayas State University during his data gathering about the Support to Students at the Accreditation Center. He concluded “Dapat much ang learning ng teacher than the students.”
Other accreditors are Dr. Filipina L. Pagaran from Palompon Institute of Technology, for faculty documents; Prof. Haidee Y. Gunhuran, dean, Siquijor State College, for laboratories; Professor Monico G. Acas of Siquijor State College, Dr. Corazon A. Prejoles of Cebu Normal University, and Dr. Quirino C.
