MMSU and SLSU conducted a benchmarking activity at the RYPIC located at ISAT U Miagao Campus

Not just one, but two prominent universities in the field of science and technology conducted a benchmarking activity at the Regional Yarn Production and Innovation Center (RYPIC) located at ISAT U Miagao Campus last September 3, 2022.

Dr. Shirley Agrupis, President of Mariano Marcos State University expressed her intention to conduct benchmarking for the realization of MMSU’s vision to put up fabrication and processing facilities in the near future to make science work for the people. “ISAT U is known for its award winning innovations in science and technology that is adaptable and adoptable to the community,” the President said. Together with Dr. Agrupis were Dr. Lawrence Eclarin, Dr. Felicitas Sanculi, and Prof. Zaldy Fernandez.

Meanwhile, the finalization of their project proposal entitled “Establishment of Japan-Philippine Automotive Technology and Electro-Mechanical Engineering Laboratory for the Underprivileged Southern Leytenos” led Dr. Prose Ivy Yepes, President of Southern Leyte State University to visit ISAT U for its best practices and innovative strategies. With her were Dr. Angel Sabusap, Engr. Ryan Macuto, and Engr. Danilo Metra, Jr.

On the part of ISAT U, Dr. Raul Muyong thanked the delegates stressing that the benchmarking activity will pave the way for strong collaborations and positive acceptance for partnership program in the future.
