ISAT U Miagao Campus conducted the Gender Fair Education and Training on “Integrating Gender in Syllabus and Classroom Instruction” on September 28-30, 2022 at Istorya Forest Garden, Pan-ay, Capiz.
The activity aimed to create a workplace which is fair, safe, and inclusive of all people regardless of their gender identity and sexual orientation.
The school invited Prof. Emily Dela Cruz, Director, ISAT U Gender and Development as resource speaker on Integration of Gender in Syllabus. On the other hand, Dr. Jureca Nacional, ISAT U MC faculty shed light on Gender-Fair Language. Finally, Mr. Nino Legaspi, also a faculty from ISAT U MC discussed Gender-Based Sexual Harassment in Higher Education Institutions.
This milestone activity is truly a celebration and would not have been possible without the unwavering support and combined leadership of Dr. Ramon Emmanuel, Jr., ISAT U MC Campus Administrator, Dr. Susie Hope Tomol, GAD Focal Person, and Dr. Ray Jay Palmos, President, ISAT U MC Faculty and Employees Association.
