Alumni from various generations of Iloilo Science and Technology University Miagao Campus (ISAT UC) and its predecessor institutions gathered for a grand homecoming, rekindling friendships and celebrating their shared legacy, this February 1-2.
The event brought together former students of Miagao Regional High School, Miagao High School, Miagao Vocational School, Southern Iloilo Polytechnic College (SIPC), SIPC–Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (WVCST), and ISAT U–Miagao Campus.
A recognition ceremony was organized, honoring outstanding alumni who have made significant contributions to their fields. The celebration also featured lively entertainment, performances, and interactive sessions, fostering camaraderie among attendees.
Beyond reminiscing, the alumni discussed initiatives to give back to the school and support current and future students through scholarships, mentorship programs, and infrastructure projects. Their shared goal was to strengthen the institution that played a crucial role in their growth and success.
As ISAT University continues to expand its influence in education and research, the homecoming served as a reminder of the university’s legacy, inspiring future collaborations to uphold the spirit of excellence, unity, and service.
