In order to embrace the essence of teamwork, fair play, and mutual support both on and off the field among students, Iloilo Science and Technology University Miagao Campus’ (ISAT U MC) Sports Club organized the Hinampang 2024, this October 29-31.
The event kick-started with a vibrant parade that was participated by both athletes and students as they proudly represented their own councils.
“Being a good sportsman is also associated in the holistic development of every individual,” Dr. Ramon N. Emmanuel Jr., Campus Administrator stated during his message at the opening program as he emphasized the significance and benefits of joining sporting events.
Moreover, each council then displayed spirited performances, showcasing their pride and determination, setting the tone for the three-day event ahead.
“Champions are born and legends reign. We always have the heart to win because we want resilience but it’s also because of the spirit of friendship and what we call sportsmanship,” said Dr. Myla N. Conejar Head of Student Affairs and Services, who encouraged to foster and embrace the spirit of friendship during the conduct of the games.
