The Office of External Affairs, in collaboration with the Computer Studies Department, successfully spearheaded a seminar titled “Unlocking the Future with Data: A Seminar on Data Science and Its Job Opportunities.” This event aimed to equip Information Technology and Information Science students with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of data science and the diverse career opportunities it offers.
A highlight of the seminar was the keynote address delivered by Dr. Henry F. Ofori from South Korea, an esteemed international guest lecturer with extensive expertise in data science. Dr. Ofori shared his knowledge on the topic, “Career Path of a Data Scientist/Data Analyst,” providing an in-depth discussion on the essential skills, industry trends, and global demands in the field. His talk inspired students to explore data-driven careers and emphasized the growing importance of data literacy across various industries.
This initiative forms part of ISAT U Miagao Campus’ ongoing internationalization activities, reflecting its commitment to foster global academic partnerships and preparing students for competitive careers in the international job market.
